Service for german and international Universities: |

|
The task of the DIB is to cover Areas as service institution that would be not easy coverable by a German or international University itself. Or if it would be covered the performance might not be sufficient or the outcomes are not efficient. This can be seen in the problem of the delegation of internationalisation and the lack of competence in the area of acquisition of funds, the cultural and ethic knowledge of the target region or country as well as in the creation of an interest and competence pool for realising complex project targets.
We do look back on experiences of joint activities with Universities and Institutions in
- Eastern Europe and Central Asia: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russian Federation, Ukraine, Uzbekistan
- EU-countries: Estonia, France, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain
- (Latin)America: Cuba, USA
Our Staff members do have experiences in the project preparation, the acquisition of external funds, the project co-ordination and *administration of different project types, like program Tempus PHARE and TACIS, project of foundations like Volkswagen Fund etc. |

Our activities are often of interdisciplinary nature and widely spread. In our experts pool the areas Agriculture, Health Studies, Engineering Information and Communication Technologies as well as business studies and social sciences, are covered.
The competences are used for research and development projects. Therefore one concentration is at present in the field of curricula development projects in Central Asia and Central Eastern Europe. A further concentration can bee seen recently in the planning, organisation and realisation of Seminars, Workshops and especially Summer Schools. In addition to this, we undertake consultancy * mainly in Central Eastern Europe * in the area of University development and course development. |
